Douglas had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They came out on top against the Glide Wildcats by a score of 7-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-3 victory on Friday.

Douglas' win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Glide, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-4.
