After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado, Nederland was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 43-16 victory over the Poudre Community Academy Warriors. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Poudre Community Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Breckyn Jones, who posted nine points along with seven boards and six steals. Those seven rebounds gave Jones a new career-high. Tori Howe was another key player, putting up three points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

With the win, Nederland broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3. As for Poudre Community Academy, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Nederland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poudre Community Academy, they will face off against Twin Peaks Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th.
