Middletown lost against Trinity on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Raiders took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrocks. The Blue Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middletown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Cochran, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Cochran is becoming a predictor of the Blue Raiders' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Jacob Miller was another, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
