Memphis Business Academy had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They blew past the Lakeland Preparatory Lions, posting a 52-16 victory. The Execs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Memphis Business Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tarrin Hill, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten steals. Thanks to that strong game, Hill now owns an excellent 45.1% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Curnesha Taylor, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 15 points and three steals.

Memphis Business Academy's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.4 points over those games. As for Lakeland Preparatory, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.

Memphis Business Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-24 win against Mitchell on the 15th. Lakeland Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
