While Rocklin put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Christian Brothers. The Rocklin Thunder blew past the Christian Brothers Falcons 14-0. This was payback for the Thunder, who suffered a 5-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cat Alston and Payton Prior were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Alston tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Prior struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). What's more, Alston gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. At bat, Alston went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Prior scored a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Katie Wetteland was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Savannah Lorenzini was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Rocklin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christian Brothers only posted an OBP of .333.

The win made it two in a row for Rocklin and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.5 runs. As for Christian Brothers, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocklin will take on Roseville at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Brothers, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
