Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Fighting Zebras vs. Kennedy Cougars

The Lincoln Fighting Zebras will square off against the Kennedy Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Lincoln's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Kennedy has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Lincoln not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. They put the hurt on Marysville with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Fighting Zebras haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln never let Marysville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Kennedy came up short against Antelope on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Kennedy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
