12 must be Powers's lucky number: they beat Bandon/Pacific with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Cruisers beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-1. The Cruisers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Powers pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Bandon/Pacific, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
