Volleyball Recap: Treasure Valley Classical Academy Find Success

Treasure Valley Classical Academy lost to Centennial Baptist back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Treasure Valley Classical Academy came out on top against Centennial Baptist by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Treasure Valley Classical Academy.

The win didn't come easy: Centennial Baptist scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20.

Avery Cook paced Treasure Valley Classical Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Cook got some help from Ella Burke and her 20 assists. Daniella Caracciolo controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Centennial Baptist still got an impressive performance from Katie Oostra, who had ten kills, six aces, and three digs. Carly West was another key player, getting seven digs and five aces.

The victory got Treasure Valley Classical Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Centennial Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Treasure Valley Classical Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gem State Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Centennial Baptist, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Riverstone International on the 17th.
