Baseball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Plano Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Saturday.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Plano, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Princeton beat Plano by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.
