Caldwell Parish and St. Frederick are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2016, but likely not for long. Caldwell Parish will head out to take on St. Frederick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell Parish has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Caldwell Parish is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Sterlington on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to the Panthers. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, St. Frederick waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 12-7.

Avery Houser was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Day, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

St. Frederick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

St. Frederick pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Caldwell Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Caldwell Parish took their win against St. Frederick in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Caldwell Parish since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
