Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuba City). They blew past the Southwestern Wildcats 11-5 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cubans as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Cuba City's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Southwestern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cuba City and Southwestern will both be playing Fennimore the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cubans will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
