Clovis East had a senior duo take command as Tyus Miller threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt and Blake Mathieu picked up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those 157 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Mathieu.

The defeat snapped Tulare Union's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-2 record. As for Clovis East, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Tulare Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clovis East, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 47-13 win against Clovis on the 15th.
