            Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Springs Indians vs. Keyser Golden Tornado        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Mountain View Christian Academy  last Thursday, Berkeley Springs came back down to earth. The Indians took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keyser Golden Tornado on Tuesday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Golden Tornado: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Berkeley Springs came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-22,  25-22.

  Alyssa Patton and  Abigail Close certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Patton  had nine  digs, while  Close  had 29  digs, eight  kills,  and four  aces. Close is  crushing it when it comes to  kills: she's   had at least five every time she's  taken the court this season.  Isabelle Bingaman also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Keyser,  the  win snapped their losing streak at five matches  and leaves them with a 15-13-2 record.
 Berkeley Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-1  victory against Paw Paw on the 23rd. As for Keyser, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against East Hardy on the 23rd.
