Basketball Recap: South Beloit Find Success

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for South Beloit on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Guardians. The Sobos haven't had any issues with the Guardians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Coltan Porter went supernova, shooting 5-for-9 from deep and dropping a double-double with 38 points and 11 boards. Porter is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Landen Reed, who posted six points and 15 rebounds.
