Basketball Recap: Amarillo Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Amarillo Collegiate Academy lost against Mercy School Institute last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Amarillo Collegiate Academy Eagles and the Mercy School Institute Mustangs didn't end well, with the Amarillo Collegiate Academy Eagles falling 48-31.

Despite the loss, Amarillo Collegiate Academy still got an impressive performance from Will Stollings, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trapper Ernst, who earned three points and five rebounds.

It was another big night for Taim Salkini, who scored 15 points for Mercy School Institute. Muhmmad Jovindah was another key player, putting up ten points.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Mercy School Institute, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-59 victory against Grace Classical Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Mercy School Institute, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-43 defeat against Weatherford Express HomeSchool on the 15th.
