Volleyball Recap: Triad Comes Up Short

Triad lost against Newton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Allison Adomite and Josie Stottler, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Brooklyn Carter and her eight assists. Heidi Boehning controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Triad now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Newton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

Triad didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Tolono Unity on the 20th. As for Newton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Waterloo on the 20th.
