Volleyball Recap: Solomon Takes a Loss

Solomon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Herington Railroaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railroaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Solomon was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22.

Solomon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20-3. As for Herington, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15-2.

Coincidentally, Solomon and Herington will both be playing Douglass the next time they take the court. The Gorillas will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Railroaders will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
