Soccer Recap: Simley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Richfield on Saturday, Simley came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the Hastings Raiders on Tuesday, falling 5-0. Simley haven't had much luck with Hastings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Hastings, they pushed their record up to 5-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Simley will take on South St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hastings, they will square off against Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
