Jefferson is a perfect 10-0 against King since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Jefferson Dragons will look to defend their home field against the King Lions at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Jefferson had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Sickles put an end to it on Tuesday. Jefferson came up short against Sickles, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Gryphons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, King lost 19-3 to Spoto on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly 16 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for King and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Jefferson took their victory against King when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 23-3. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does King have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
