Baseball Recap: Saguaro Sabercats vs. St. Mary's Knights

After flying high against Marcos de Niza last Wednesday, Saguaro came back down to earth. The Sabercats fell 8-5 to the St. Mary's Knights on Tuesday. Sabercats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Tuesday.

Saguaro got a good showing from AJ Busseri, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Busseri hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024.
