Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brooke Peters stepped things up a notch to give Oshkosh North the 'W'. Appleton East had no answer to Peters as she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Peters has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Peters and Oshkosh North will venture away from home to square off against West Bend West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
