Ames won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Little Cyclones were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Roughriders. Winning may never get old, but the Little Cyclones sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ames' victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ames will challenge Western Christian on Saturday. As for Roosevelt, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ottumwa at 7:15 p.m. on the 14th.
