While Sterling's victory against Gateway Regional wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Silver Knights skirted past the Gators 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Silver Knights in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won nine in a row.

Sterling's record now sits at 2-4. As for Gateway Regional, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Sterling will head out on the road to square off against Haddon Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gateway Regional, they will be playing at home against Woodbury at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. This will be the Gators' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
