Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Las Vegas). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls 93-61. The Wildcats pushed the score to 71-49 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulls had little chance of recovering from.

Las Vegas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Iverson, who went 7 of 13 en route to 22 points and five rebounds. Those 22 points gave Iverson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tayshaun Jackson, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Las Vegas was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sports Leadership & Management only posted five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Sports Leadership & Management lost, don't look at Pablo-Ernestro Cruz-Lara. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 11 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavior Ventura, who posted 13 points.

Las Vegas has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.

Las Vegas will face off against Spring Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Las Vegas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Spring Valley likes a good challenge.
