Father Ryan had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Lafayette on Friday. The Irish put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 3-0 win. Given Father Ryan's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fourth in Tennessee, while Lafayette are ranked 35th in Kentucky) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gigi Lewis and Chloe Edwards scored all three of Father Ryan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
