The Oswego Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to the Plainfield North Tigers' zero. Plainfield North were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Oswego earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Plainfield North is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12-1. As for Oswego, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
