Brandon Ward of Tolsia ran for the longest rushing play in Cardinal this season against Hoover last week. Ward scampered for 53 yards on the play and finished with 101 on the day as his team bested the Huskies.

Fans got a thrill when Blake Rose and Nathan Marshall connected against Hoover. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.

Tolsia's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rose threw for 234 and 3 touchdowns and Luke Presley had 119 yards receiving. Marshall helped Tolsia's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 79 yards.
