It's playoff time, and University had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Jefferson Cougars by a score of 11-8 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won four games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Bri Royce, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lexi Elza, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

University's win bumped their record up to 25-5-1. As for Jefferson, they moved to 22-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither University nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
