Basketball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo was the 81-59 winner over Brainerd when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took an 83-77 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Thursday.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Brainerd, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apollo will take on Fergus Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brainerd, they will square off against St. Michael-Albertville at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
