Softball Recap: Master's Academy Falls Short of Geneva in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Master's Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Geneva Knights on Tuesday, falling 16-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss two weeks ago.

Lauren McMeel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Geneva, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Master's Academy nor Geneva have any future games scheduled.
