Softball Recap: Antwerp Archers vs. Hicksville Aces
Antwerp posted their closest win since April 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hicksville Aces 4-3. The Archers haven't had any issues with the Aces recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Elle Clem made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.5 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
Clem wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Hogans, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Haydyn Lengacher also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
