Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jordyn Fairfield and Addysen Bennyhoff Lead Cactus Shadows to Victory + How To Watch

Cactus Shadows won the last time they faced Saguaro and things went their way on Monday too. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Sabercats 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Cactus Shadows had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18, 15-13.

Leading Cactus Shadows to victory were Addysen Bennyhoff and Jordyn Fairfield. Bennyhoff had six digs and two aces, while Fairfield had nine digs and one assist. That's the most aces Bennyhoff has posted since back in September.

Cactus Shadows' victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Saguaro, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Cactus Shadows will host Marcos de Niza at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saguaro, they will square off against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sabercats are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
