Basketball Game Preview: Campolindo Cougars vs. Mt. Diablo Red Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Campolindo Cougars will get right back to it and host the Mt. Diablo Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Campolindo and ten for Mt. Diablo.

On Tuesday, Campolindo came up short against Weston Ranch and fell 53-44. The contest marked Campolindo's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Diablo's game on Saturday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 53-45 defeat to Tennyson.

Mt. Diablo's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Campolindo, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Everything came up roses for Campolindo against Mt. Diablo when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured an 83-17 victory. In that game, Campolindo amassed a halftime lead of 41-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
