Soccer Recap: Wyoming Area Comes Up Short

Wyoming Area lost against Lake-Lehman back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 6-0 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Wyoming Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while Lake-Lehman are ranked 34th).

Wyoming Area is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12. As for Lake-Lehman, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Wyoming Area wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Pittston on the 16th. As for Lake-Lehman, they will take on Montrose at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
