Basketball Recap: El Campo Skates Past Louise with Ease

El Campo's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Louise Hornets 56-16.

Riannah Miles continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 15 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kami Miller, who posted six points along with 12 boards and three steals.

Louise's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kenedy Long-Brown, who put up six points and 11 rebounds, and Paige Lutringer, who had no points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Long-Brown a new career-high in points.

El Campo's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Louise, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

El Campo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-47 victory against Yorktown on the 27th. As for Louise, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-7 defeat against Tidehaven on the 27th.
