Volleyball Recap: Redlands Terriers vs. West Ranch Wildcats
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Redlands couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the West Ranch Wildcats on Tuesday. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-14, 25-13.
Kameryn Carpenter paced Redlands' offense, picking up nine kills. Carpenter got some help from Natallia Caravia and her 11 assists.
West Ranch can attribute much of their success to Alexandra Seres, who had 13 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Seres has posted since back in September. Dani Clewis was another key player, hitting 70.6% for 13 kills and 13 digs, four blocks, and two aces.
Redlands' defeat dropped their record down to 31-7. As for West Ranch, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-6.
Redlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Ranch, they will square off against Bishop Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
