Basketball Recap: Trenton Comes Up Short

Trenton lost against Kenmare/Bowbells back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trenton Tigers lost 62-38 to Kenmare/Bowbells. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Kenmare/Bowbells are ranked eighth).

Trenton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Kenmare/Bowbells, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Trenton Tigers face off against the North Shore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenmare/Bowbells, they will square off against Alexander at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kenmare/Bowbells knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Alexander likes a good challenge.
