Volleyball Game Preview: Maryvale Panthers vs. South Mountain Jaguars

Maryvale is 1-9 against South Mountain since August of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Maryvale took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Camelback. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, South Mountain made easy work of West Point on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Maryvale's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for South Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
