Volleyball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Six

Evangel Christian Academy proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Elbert Bulldogs 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Evangel Christian Academy took Elbert into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-12, 25-17, 20-25, 15-9.

Leading Evangel Christian Academy to victory were Bailey Roberts and Olivia Christensen. Roberts had 19 digs and two aces, while Christensen had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave Christensen a new career-high.
