Lakeside skates past Genesis Prep Academy with ease

Recap: Lakeside Knights vs. Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars
The Lakeside Knights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Genesis Prep Academy, posting a 101-43 victory at home. Lakeside's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lakeside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Charley out in front who scored 19 points along with eight steals. Charley is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Liam Hendrix was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Genesis Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. Genesis Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
