Recap: First Presbyterian Day Vikings vs. Brentwood War Eagles

Even though the Brentwood War Eagles scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, the First Presbyterian Day Vikings still came out on top. First Presbyterian Day took their game against Brentwood 66-58.

First Presbyterian Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reynolds Handberry, who scored 13 points along with five steals. The contest was Handberry's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Davis, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.

First Presbyterian Day now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brentwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Presbyterian Day will take on Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rock Springs Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully First Presbyterian Day likes a good challenge. As for Brentwood, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Briarwood Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
