Volleyball Game Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Brighton Bengals

The Alta Hawks will face off against the Brighton Bengals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alta has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Brighton will come in with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, Alta didn't have quite enough to beat Bountiful and fell 3-2.

Alta wouldn't go down easily and took Bountiful into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 26-28, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Brighton beat Olympus 3-1 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 27-29, 25-17.

Alta's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Brighton, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
