Baseball Game Preview: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Rockwood Tigers

For the second straight game, Harriman will face off against Rockwood. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Harriman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Rockwood 19-2 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Antonio Ibarra was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has become a key player for Harriman: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 1-10 otherwise. Ibarra was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Harriman got a massive performance out of Cam Best, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hawn, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Harriman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rockwood is on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12. As for Harriman, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
