Basketball Game Preview: Chilhowie Warriors vs. Castlewood Blue Devils

The Chilhowie Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Castlewood Blue Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Chilhowie is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Chilhowie was beaten by Mountain Mission 67-32.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Castlewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Tazewell 54-9. That looming 54-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Chilhowie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Castlewood, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

Chilhowie strolled past Castlewood when the teams last played last Tuesday by a score of 48-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chilhowie since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
