Maya Barajas Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Orestimba's Maya Barajas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Barajas rushed for 101 yards. She got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.

Orestimba is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Barajas and Orestimba will square off against Sonora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Escalon Gets a Boost from Velasco in 24-6 Win

Arianna Velasco's big game helped extend Escalon's winning streak to three on Wednesday. Nobody could stop Velasco as he threw for 69 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes.

Escalon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. Velasco and Escalon will square off against Hilmar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Leah Hobby stepped things up a notch to give Hughson the 'W'. Hilmar had no answer to Hobby as she threw for 209 yards and five touchdowns.

Hughson's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Hobby and Hughson will square off against Ripon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Jasmine Barron Makes It Two for Escalon

Another Escalon player making an appearance on this list is Jasmine Barron. She picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Unfortunately for Sonora, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Barron. Barron picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown the last time she and the Wildcats duked it out back in September.

Presley Wells Makes It Two for Hughson

Another Hughson player making an appearance on this list is Presley Wells. She picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 65 yards on only eight carries.
