After a string of five wins, Lingleville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Rio Vista Eagles.

Rio Vista found their leader in sophomore Kyndal Cooley, who had nine digs and one assist.

Lingleville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Rio Vista, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Lingleville will take on Zephyr at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rio Vista, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bruceville-Eddy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
