Preview: North Side vs. Taylorsville
North Side will take on Taylorsville in each of the teams' fifth playoff game on Saturday. Averaging 43 points per matchup, the North Side squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Taylorsville's defense is prepared for a test.
North Side earned some more postseason success in their contest last week. They came out on top against Charleston by a score of 14-6.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up nothing to nothing at the half for Taylorsville and Scott Central, but Taylorsville stepped up in the second half. The Tartars were able to grind out a solid win over Scott Central last Friday, winning 14-6. No one put up better numbers for Taylorsville than Jeffery Pittman, who really brought his A game. He rushed for 100 yards and two TDs on 15 carries. This makes it four games in a row in which Pittman has produced a touchdown.
