Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Salt Fork Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Storm are ranked 188th).
Last Thursday, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-32 to the Buffaloes.
Meanwhile, Salt Fork waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 12 straight wins but they left with 13. They took down Oakwood 44-26. 44 seems to be a good number for Salt Fork as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Salt Fork, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-5.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin took a serious blow against the Storm in their previous matchup back in January, falling 38-11. Can Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
