Volleyball Recap: Santa Cruz's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

After flying high against Harbor on Tuesday, Santa Cruz came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Scotts Valley Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Santa Cruz's loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-6. As for Scotts Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Santa Cruz will be taking part in a tournament against Albany at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Scotts Valley, they will welcome Harbor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
