Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside). Everything went their way against the Troup County Tigers on Tuesday as the Northside Patriots made off with an 11-1 win. With the Patriots ahead 9-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Troup County from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Kayla Benjamin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for Northside and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those two matches. As for Troup County, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Northside will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Griffin at 6:00 p.m. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Troup County has given up an average of 9.3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
